Coronavirus continued

Things you can do to prevent and treat Coronavirus:

Note: this material is taken largely from an excellent lecture given very recently by the reknowned American doctor Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt.

As you are probably all aware the virus does not seem to affect young people that much. However things can get more serious in those over 60. The virus hangs around on mucosal surfaces for quite a while before invading the body so that you can disinfect your eyes, nose and throat with a simple product called hypochlorous acid (HCA). The product is sold as a pet spray on line or you can buy for $50 a generator spray unit powered by batteries that converts table salt into HCA.

If you do not like this idea you could use Propolis spray into your mouth after any suspicious exposure.

The virus needs to be activated by furin enzymes on our cell membranes. These enzymes can be blocked by Vitamin C and herbs like Andrographis. Two grammes a day of VitaminC is recommended prophylaxis. Andrographis is easily found online in capsule or drop form.

Other herbs useful in viral infections include calendula, licorice root (tea), skullcap, rosemary, wormwood (tincture) and dandelion (tea).

Melatonin is useful to prevent what is called the "cytokine storm". This storm occurs when the virus triggers the immune cells to release the inflammatory proteins Interleukin 1beta and 18 in large amounts. This can cause a sudden increase of fluid in the airways with sometimes dire consequences. Melatonin is now only available on prescription in Australia.

Prescription drugs: Plaquenil and Zithromax taken in combination cured 20 out of 20 cases in one small study. Nitazoxanide (100mg twice daily for 10 days) is also effective but is only available here from compounding chemists on script or via a special access scheme.

Certain medications may increase the severity of a virus infection including many arthritis drugs (also sold as pain killers), the class of blood pressure drugs called ACE Inhibitors, and the trace mineral selenium.

WiFi and radio waves facilitate the entry of calcium into cells which can trigger the cytokine storm seen in severe infections. So turn off your wifi and put your devices into airplane mode when not being used.

If you do get infected a 15-20gm VitaminC drip IV for three days is probably the best treatment.

There has also been much discussion recently on the internet about the drug ivermectin. Ivermectin is not readily available in some countries for the treatment of coronavirus.
